I liked the idea of having a 'live performance' aspect to my video and to in-keep with the chilled and laid back video tone i felt that this style would have a better fit, compared to a performance with a crowd.

I really like the iconic lighting used in this video and how you can only see their faces with the rest of the screen being plunged into darkness. It emphasises the words being said and gives the video a much more personal touch.

I took a lot of inspiration from this video, especially the first 50 seconds. We are shown montage of a man being sad whilst going about his routine. The clips are separated by 2 second long black screens and i felt this was really effective at showing that time has passed. I also like the prolonged clips used to signify that time is moving slow for him and that he is grieving loss.

I felt the use of vhs footage was a great way to tell the audience the footage being displayed was of the past and to make the video more emotional when the conclusion comes around, as you have been show how much these two people like each other and the history they have.
